Retirement community cuts costs by going solar

Sigora Solar and Stuart's Draft Retirement Community will host a ribbon cutting on May 19th. As of May 1st, nearly 60 percent of Stuart’s Draft's utility bills will be reduced thanks to a new solar energy system. Leland Brenneman, CEO of Stuart's Draft, said, “Not only are we cutting our monthly utility costs, but we’re making the environment cleaner for our community and our families. My hope is that we can pass the savings on to our residents.” Logan Landry, CEO of Sigora Solar said, “It’s a beautiful location, with wonderful residents and staff, and now we can say it’s a community producing its own electricity."
