Tom Tom panel sets a vision for Charlottesville climate leadership

A panel discussion at the recent Tom Tom Founders Summit put the spotlight on Charlottesville's efforts to address climate change. “It’s really important that cities take this task head-on,” said City Councilor Wes Bellamy. Last year, the city joined the Mayors National Climate Action Agenda, an initiative that promotes reduction of greenhouse gases by local governments. “Our companies are excited about what the city is doing related to the Compact with Mayors,” said Charity Pennock of CvilleREA. “All of this creates an opportunity for us to bring forth our resources.” Read more here.
